Ship Operators

1) ISM/ISPS and ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 Audits with LNG Focus (however type of the vessel may change, and we will provide the best industry standard and view)

Trust LNG consultants can perform independent assessments, verify the effectiveness of a Company’s Safety Management System / Quality Management System, and identify areas of weakness where gaps may exist. We can further provide solutions to close these gaps to ensure internal and regulatory compliance is met.

Trust LNG believes in providing its clients with the most accurate and professionally written reports. We review every report for quality, clarity, and grammar before releasing our clients to achieve this target.

Our auditors are trained to ISO /Internal audit level. They can perform the functions as an internal auditor for operators or as a third party to identify gaps within the Safety Management Systems.

2) Navigational Audits (focused on LNG carriers (steam turbine; Q-flex and twin screw DFDE, ARC7 or any other types. This includes remote VDR Audits and CCTV Audits).

Trust LNG consultants have a wealth of experience as senior deck officers and masters in conducting regular navigation audits to identify gaps and provide optimum bridge team operations solutions. Our detailed bespoke audit format captures both bridge team behavior and any knowledge gaps if specified, and our experienced consultants can make recommendations to improve these operations. We focus on the soft skills aspect related to the safety of navigation, bridge team co-operation, and potential “human element” shortfalls.

The most vital feature in our portfolio is the VDR Audit. Our auditors already have vast experience performing VDR audits (Furuno, JRC, Kongsberg) and VDR report writing. Also, VDR related remote audits and remote navigation incident investigations are possible and not compromised. It is palpable during the COVID-19 pandemic that being away from the vessel, our auditors can verify navigating practices of the bridge team and come to valuable conclusions. In the end, they add value for the continual improvement of the bridge team.

3) Cargo/Ballast Audits – focused on LNG aspect (VIQ, Terminal requirements, STS of LNG)

Trust LNG has consultants experienced in the field as expert witnesses for navigation and machinery casualties and cargo quality issues. Our highly qualified consultants can provide this service quickly, with wide-ranging practical and theoretical experience behind them.

Fully supported by the technical team of LNG Chief Engineers & LNG Master Mariners, Trust LNG works together with innovative recruitment/outsourcing platform LNGauditors.com. Hence our fixed internal team with technical & operational backgrounds together with outsourced LNG specialists makes it a powerful combination.

With vast vetting experience and exposure, our inspectors are in an ideal position with crucial knowledge to identify the gaps and issues to ensure a successful SIRE can be performed. While conducting pre-vetting, trust LNG can further help identify areas of potential risk across an operator’s fleet to enhance the level of compliance for not just one vessel but the fleet as a whole.

We are experienced trainers. Most of our auditors/consultants/trainers have been working in Oil Majors on HSEQ Trainer’s Positions and are well-versed with today’s industry’s needs and present great passion in the training of Seafarers and Shore Staff.

We are approaching the trainees with innovative methodologies, including andragogical teaching and applying Bloom’s taxonomy. We do not treat trainees as children but as well-experienced partners, and usually, training is done by sharing the experiences through conversations.

We differentiate between pedagogy (which is not the best choice while training the seafarers) and andragogy. Pedagogy is teaching and raising children, whereas andragogy is the education of adults. Teaching children and adult education is not the same. If the trainer does not consider these differences, they usually get into various difficulties.

Four elements can distinguish andragogy from pedagogy:

  1. Independence of the learner
  2. Referring the learned things to the experience
  3. Reason for learning: Need – Adults learn what they deem necessary
  4. Motivation: internal Adults learn to better cope with the challenges of private and professional life

  • Incident investigation work-related and cargo-related by LNG matter experts.
  • Performing work-related (HSE) Investigations and compiling investigation reports for shipyards
  • Commercial Claims: LNG cargo claims / LOP, cargo-related incident investigation, and consultancy.

Due to Covid-19 Pandemic, our auditors have adapted to the change during the past year. They created remote audit models for all the audits in our portfolio. We can perform any audit remotely, including online interviews, documents, and Management System verification.

Remote Navigation VDR Audits and CCTV Audits are our most vital points.
